Rugby Success for the Under Fifteens

The under fifteens rugby team have stormed into the quarter finals of the NatWest Plate competition after a comprehensive 51-12 victory over Denstone College on Wednesday afternoon.

In favourable conditions for running rugby, the boys’ ability to move the ball into wide channels proved too much for the visitors to handle. Some slick passing and exquisite running lines saw King’s score five tries before half time. Tries came through Hira, a brace from Humphries, Heydon and Binnion, giving the hosts a comfortable lead at the break.
