Severn Stars NOVA Academy- King’s Update
The King’s School has almost completed its first cycle as a Severn Stars NOVA Academy. The Head Coach and the team have been training the talented Regional players twice a week since September and they will finally trial at the Arena in a few weeks to see if they can make the next step up to the U17 Netball performance league team. The King’s coaching team are hopeful that many will make the cut and progress to the tournament at the end of July. The players will be coached by a new management team including an England selector.
Within this management team is Director of Netball at King’s and Head Coach of the King’s NOVA Emma McKenzie:
“It is a fantastic opportunity for me to continue to work with the best athletes and coaches in our area and I am confident that we will all bring Severn Stars and the King’s NOVA success at the tournament in July.” Emma will join the players and coaches for training over the final two months and be in Nottingham with them when they will play the other 9 Netball Super-league U17 teams.
