Summer Term Comes Alive with Sports Day Spirit

What better way to start the Summer Term than with the energy, excitement, and spirit of Sports Day.

Last Wednesday, our very first day back after the Easter holidays, the school came alive with vibrant house colours, the roar of cheering crowds, and the unmistakable buzz of competition.

Sports Day

Students from across the Senior School took part in a range of fantastic events, both on the track and in the field. From long jumps to sprints, shot put to 1500m, the level of participation and performance was truly impressive. But even more remarkable than the athletic achievements was the spirit in which Sports Day unfolded.

Sports Day

The camaraderie among pupils was a highlight in itself. Students lined the track, enthusiastically supporting their peers and encouraging every runner across the finish line. It was a powerful display of sportsmanship and house pride.

Sports Day

The relays are always an excellent spectacle with close races and so many pupils taking to the track. There were some super races, but a special mention must go to Bright House, who featured for the last ever time in the Sixth Form boys’ race.

A big congratulations to all pupils who competed, whether they won an event or earnt a valuable point for taking part for their house, the effort was excellent to see.
