U14A Plate Semi-Final Victory Against Solihull School

The U14A hockey team delivered an outstanding performance in their semi-final clash against Solihull School, securing a 3-2 win after a thrilling encounter.

The match was closely contested from the start, with both teams displaying strong attacking play. By half-time, the score stood at 2-1 in favour of the U14s, thanks to two excellent goals that showcased the teams clinical finishing.

The second half saw Solihull push hard for an equaliser, but the U14s held firm, with the goalkeeper making several crucial saves to keep the opposition at bay. Towards the end of the second half, the team sealed the win with a well-executed third goal, ensuring their place in the final and the opportunity to play at the Lee Valley Hockey Centre in London on Tuesday 11th March.

It was a brilliant all-round team effort, with standout performances from both the attackers and the defence. The goalkeeper’s saves were pivotal, and the attacking players showed great composure and skill in front of goal.

A memorable and well-deserved victory and the team were very grateful for all the support on the sidelines.
